I am a bit frustrated with my new HomePod mini's.... I want to have them connected to my Mac mini as additional speakers. I already have Logitech speakers, with a big woofer. I want to have music in my kitchen, play the playlist through the house. So I did get them set up but am having issues...

I can have both sets of speakers play for 1 song, than the HomePods stopped playing. So now I am on the 3rd song and the HomePods are now playing, but not my computer speakers. A bit a go it sort of did the same thing when I was washing some dishes.... but then HP decided to play music from my phone....

Why are they switching or not staying connected???

Hi!
In my experience the HP mini’s are more demanding of a good WiFi signal than other devices. It makes sense since they are small and probably the internal antenna it’s small as well.

I did some modfications in my mesh network, bringing a node closer to the mini’s and problem solved.
