I had hoped to aquire a new iBook though a Government 'Computers for Home initative'. This was due in December but for one reason or another never arrived.

I'm now wondering what to do as new iBooks may be iminent, but I have been told my iBook may not arrive before February :(

Any concrete info on the new iBooks around?

There is never concert info when it comes to Apple releases and updates. They try to be as secretive as possible. My advice, The longer you put off purchasing an iBook, the longer you have to wait before you can use it.

I know what you mean, but it would seem the iBooks are really due an update, I had hoped there was some discussion over new PC hardware based laptops which may have given some info away.

We have been waiting for this sonce November and currently dont have a fixed date for it actually arriving so waiting a little longer wont make to much difference to us.
