New iMac 2.8 problem help please

ok i just set up my new iMac i have done the software updates and then i go into garageband i click on a sounds such as Beats and then it tells me i need to download the loops, i search for updates and everything comes up to date. then i click on my loop again and it says that the loops are being intsalled. Where are my sounds????? please help me i love my garageband!!!

The new iMacs don't come with the loops installed. You'll have to install it from your install disc.

Dunno why Apple would do this.
