New iMac 4k vs iMac 5k (2014)?

Right, a quick question – how does the iMac 4k (with SSD) compare to last years iMac 5k (also SSD)? I'm basically gonna use one at work and one at home, but haven't decided which one should go where.

I use indesign/photoshop a lot through work and occasionally play games at home. At the moment the 5K is there, though the screen is quite big and takes up a lot of space on my rather small desk. A 21,5" would fit a lot better, but as far as I've understood it that would probably hamper my gaming quite a bit, but it should work fine with Creative Cloud and such?

it depends on what you do with creative cloud. but the 27 with a dedicated gpu is more appropriate for the creative suite.

NO GAMES FOR YOU!. :)

The 5k display is frequently justified as as allowing 4k video to be displayed, along with a palette, timeline, menubars, etc
