I am looking to buy a new mini or imac. I currently have an old macbook and am looking for a desktop. When are the imac and minis coming out in 2011?

As you probably know, Apple doesn't advertise this information. Some rumors suggest mid-year. I would suggest looking at the MacRumors Buyer's Guide<https://buyersguide.macrumors.com//#Desktop_Macs> and the average days between releases. Although this is not a definitive answer, it does provide a little info.

there are a gazillion threads asking the same question, often several a day. NO ONE KNOWS except Apple and they do not tell people outside Apple.

A search with mroogle would find countless threads asking the same question.
