New iMac buying help. Early Vs Late 09s

Hey i'm looking for some advice in buying a new imac.

i am debating between the 24" 3.06ghz Specs
or the 21.5" 3.06ghz. Specs

i know they are pretty similar with the new ones have the better LED screen.
the main difference being the video cards. max ram. and bus speed.

i am looking at refurbs from the apple site where the older model is 50 more bucks.

i do plan to game some so video cards are an issue to me but don't know which one will perform better.

and also is there anything to worry about when buying from the refurb lot at the apple store? (i plan to get 3 year apple care with it)

so i'm just looking for some advice on which one will be the best bet.

mostly day to day stuff and photoshop.
considering getting an external blu-ray burner as well
and would probably dual boot with windows and do some gaming.
