I inserted a CD into the slot and put the music on iTunes... now the CD will not come out. It is a DualDisk (2 sides) if that matters.... Dual-core iMac.
How can I get it out?

Thanks much!

Peace

Nothing is working. I can here it trying to do something but the disk will not come out.... help.

Peace

The mouse button thing has worked every time for me.

Try that one again.

Is the drive making any noise at all? Could it be dead?

Yes it does make noise..... just never spits the disk out.

Peace

Have you tried inserting a paper clip into the drive, slowly and towards the middle? (not all the way!)

I have tried that but I'm not sure what I am feeling for.... don't want to mess anything up. Can't see into the slot at all.

Peace

Nothing... I can here noise inside but the disk will not come out.

heres one way I use.
get a sheet of paper and hold the corner into the middle of the slot, and try ejecting again. Sometimes it just slides out over the paper

Did not work. Anyone know how to take the case off of the new generation iMac? Maybe I could get it out that way? My brother has the generation imac before mine and he said just take out the screws out of the bottom and slide it off... but mine has only one screw for the ram cover.

Peace
