New iMac disconnecting from wireless

So, my parents bought a new iMac. They have had it for a few days, and then today, while my dad was surfing the internet, it just dropped the connection to the wireless. Not only did it drop the connection, but when i went into the Network Preferences and tried to select their wireless connection, it didn't have the WEP password saved any more. I did a reboot and it connected right up. Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what could be wrong. BTW they have a Linksys wireless router, and a windows XP laptop. I read that the WZC on the Xp laptop might mess with the connection, but WZC is turned off.
