Hi,

After a 4-5 year absence from the Mac world (had to switch to Windows full-time because of game and work demands) I'm now contemplating getting back in, mostly because of the possibility to run Windows as well.

For now, I'm considering the latest iMac, and I have two questions about it (well I have a lot more :D, but these are "makers or breakers").

1. Would my Harman Kardon SoundSticks (USB) work on it?

2. The new graphics card is not bad, but not good enough to last me the three years I want to be able to enjoy this computer. Is it possible to replace the graphics card with a better one in a year or two (without resorting to soldering, cutting, damaging the frame etc)?

Thanks!

Hi.

I don't see why not.

No, it is not possible.

That said, why isn't it good enough?? The iMac will never be a serious gamer's machine. I expect my now 8 month old 24" 2.4GHz iMac to last me at least another 2 and a half years and it has the old ATi HD2600XT card. :p
