Have you added any new hardware or certain software recently? Have you tried to boot in single user mode or reset the PRAM? Repaired permissions, repaired HDD?

I can reproduce the kernel panic when I use the Network Diagnostics. Every time. No new hardware or software. Only factory apps. I reset the PRAM, repaired permissions, verified disk. I haven't tried to boot into single user mode.

Plymouth Oct 9, 2006 #4 have you taken a look at the crash logs to see if something stands out? it is most likely a hardware problem and may need applecare service. But I can say that applecare is great and has been able to fix or replace every single hardware problem I have had within a very quick timeframe
