Decided it was time to get rid of my mac mini of 5 years, I bought a new 27" iMac. Whats the best way for me to transfer information from my mac mini to my new iMac?
Thanks for the help in advanced...

The usual way is to have an external hard drive (portable is easiest) which you use to make a time machine backup of your Mac Mini, then connect it to the new iMac when it arrives and use the Setup Assistant (that launches automatically when you first start a new mac) to migrate your apps/files/settings to the new mac.

Thank you very much matreya...
