New imac owner sharing bwn users!

please forgive my ignorance. I am a newly converted mac man and I am having a few issues.

I can't seem to be able to get Microsoft office applications on my wifes dock. I also can't seem to see all the photo's within iphoto between users. I went into iphoto's preferences and clicked share all for both users and still i'm unable to view them.

I apologize if this is already posted I can't seem to find it on any other posts

What happens when you drag the Office apps from the Applications folder?

I don't believe it's possible to share iPhoto libraries between users. The "share" option you've enabled is for sharing between computers, not users.
