New Imac questions

Hi all,

I'm selling my macbook pro and will be buying a new 21" Imac...My question is how do I move my itunes and iphotos from the macbook pro to the new imac? I've been backing up an external HD via Time machine but only want the music or photos. Or do I just back up the entire macbook pro to the new imac...Confused a little...Thanks

You can use Setup or Migration Assistant to import just what you want from an external Time Machine HDD or even a clone of your MacBook.
