new iMac randomly goes to sleep

My late 2012 3TB/fusion iMac is 4 months old and occasionally goes black (sleep?) while I am using the machine. It seems more likely to do this soon after I wake the machine up. Is this a behavior anyone else has experienced?

Never happened to me. I have one of my hot corners set to put the screen to go to sleep. Is it something like that or in your power management settings? Try disabling the go to sleep and screen saver options and see if it's still a problem.

My 2012 15" MacBook Pro does this occasionally. I think there is a bug somewhere in the 10.8.3 software. As of right now there is no fix for it.
