Hey all, had my new imac since end of December, has been running great but was using today, when all of a sudden kaboom! Well there was no noise, but I just heard this click then all of a sudden it restarted itself.

Doesn't look like it was a kernal panic, but is there any logs I can check or go through to see if the computer is alright?
Doesn't look like a power surge as the lights etc, remained on.

Do you have a UPS or surge protector? What were you doing when it shut down?

It's in a surge protector but no UPS, the power I have here seems to be pretty clean though. I had about 12 apps open (the usual) it'd been running for about 16 days, and I was writing a message in Skype, so nothing 'pushy' on the computer
