Hello,

I just bought a new Imac and after DL Steam I click into the program and I just get the spinning beach ball. When I go into the task manager it says it is not responding.

I then deleted steam and re downloaded it 2 more times. It did it every time,

What can I do?

Thanks!

"task manager" ?
Does that mean that you are using Steam with Windows, or are you using Steam app in OS X?
If Windows, how do you have Windows installed? Boot Camp, or a virtual app like VMWare, or something else?
That will make a big difference in how your question gets answered.

Sorry, Im used to the Windows terms. i am not sure what the program is called on an apple, but its where you can see what apps are running or if they are not responding.

I am putting it on Yosemite- latest version.

Thx now I know :)

Any ideas on the problem? I cant seem to figure it out? Maybe its a problem with steam?

It wouldnt stop, I had to force close it everytime. It was not responding when I went into the activity monitor
