Just bought a new iMac desktop and I'm trying to import the music, contacts, bookmarks, etc from my previous machine. I have all the files on a flash drive, and the flash drive plugged into a USB port on the back of my Mac. But there doesn't seem to be an option to import onto the new Mac. What am I missing? Am I not doing this correctly? All I want to do is import what's on the flash drive onto the new Mac but I don't see where to do that.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you

When you started the new iMac it asked if you wanted to migrate from another Mac. You either missed that or ignored it. The best method of migrating is to use Setup Assistant, if you want a second try then read Pondini's guide on Setup Assistant and look for the section called 2nd Chance. You can find it at:
