Hi

I have a new iMac with 6GB of RAM. I am using VMWare fusion 3 and I have a few questions.

1) Should I split the memory and allocate 3GB to the VM?
2) If not, is there a better allocation.
3) If I suspend the VM and exit, is all the memory surrendered back to the Mac side?
3) The VM sees the iMac monitor as generic PnP. Is it advantageous to change this and if so how?

I am not running in Bootcamp. I do not game.

Thanks in advance,

Jay

1) Depends on what you do. 1.5GB should be enough for most tasks. You'll to experiment.

2) ^ Refer to #1

3) Yes.

4) Doesn't matter?

I made an error in my post. I have two questions with the question number 3. The last, is the fourth question. Sorry
and thanks Ayeying for your response.
