new imac with another display

hi there... simple question...

if I buy a new imac 21.5" would I be able to connect it to my Apple 20" Cinema (DVI not the ADC version) and have an extended display set up.

I currently have a macbook pro and am using it in this way. I assume that it would be possible but I thought I'd rather ask to make sure...

Assuming you have a Mini Display Port to DVI converter cable then yes, that'll be OK
