Hi,
this is what I'd love: To buy a new iMac with Tiger and get Leopard when it comes out (not pre-installed) for free. :D
The idea is to work with Tiger until Leopard has reached 10.5.1 stage.
If you ordered the iMac now and the Leopard release happened within your two-week return period, wouldn't they offer you the OS upgrade for free rather than take the old iMac back so that you could then buy the same machine with the new OS?
What are your experiences?
Thanks for sharing.

No one knows. But Apple's history has been that if you bought the new machine ~two weeks before a major system release you will get grandfathered in.

Actuallly it has been machines purchased between the announment of a release date and the release are eligible for the up-to-date program
