New in calendar iOS 5

Is it new in iOS 5 you can flip through the pages in calendar by dragging the lower corner like flipping pages in iBooks?

God I hope so. I've never understood why you can't swipe through weeks, days, as youncan in iBooks.

Yes, you can. 'Day' works great, but the 'week', 'month' and 'year' are slightly strange, as they don't follow the natural path if it was a real calender - it moves very quickly to the left, then slowly upwards.

I'm glad there is improvements.

The Calendar app always seemed a bit of of place, you know, like it was designed by someone else.

Come to think of it, the contacts app feels the same way also.

Neither off the apps seem to match the look and feel, of the other apps.
Almost as if they were not part of the same flowing experience.
