my macbook has been in the process of getting fixed for the random shutdown problem. apparently, it isn't the logic board, it's the heat sync (i think that is what he said) that needs to be replaced. has anyone who has had their logic board replaced once experienced more random shutdowns at all? also, they had to replace my top case because the keyboard and mouse didn't work after replacing the heat sync. anyone know anything about this?

Edit - i just read the 16 page thread on this. woopsie.

Yes, the word on the street is that Apple narrowed things down a bit and is now replacing just the heat sink instead of the whole logic board. But some users are reporting that it's not fixing the problem.

well i've been waiting for about a month for this to get fixed, so if this doesn't fix the problem, apple is giving me a new macbook. or else!
