Hey all,
For various reasons I've done a full clean install on my iMac using Snow Leopard.
Now since this I've had a couple of issues I'm wondering if someone can help me with.
Software Update checks *very* slowly, if at all, often stalling on around 5% of the progress bar before either telling me there's no updates (when I know there are) or taking an age to crawl along. I've deleted all relevant .plist files and restarted countless times. My connection's not 'fast' but at around 1.5-2mb it should be acceptable, and has been in the past.
Secondly - Time Machine - I've never tried this before but figured this time I would, but I keep getting failed backups - again, deleted relevant preferences, reformatted hard drive into the appropriate format - all the 'obvious' stuff I think.
Anyone able to offer any thoughts?
