Hi, I just got a 160GB Intel 320 for my late 2008 unibody Macbook (2 Ghz Core Duo) and used Carbon Copy Cloner to copy my data. Was kind of tricky to install the drive because the old one had these screws with a small nipple holding the drive in place, which I wasn't able to get off the old drive and use with the new one. But Everything works fine and my computer is much faster... :)
Now I will wait another year before I get a new macbook.

Should I do anything? Activate trim through this hack? how?
Was the hard drive defragmented when I cloned the drive. I know, mac. But my drive was pretty full for a long time and I have big files (3GB+). Now 38.6GB are free or ~24%.
Anything else?

Thanks!

How did you mount the drive? I assume you didn't buy a retail one with the mounting bracket.

Everything work out well in the end? I have the same MBP and am thinking of buying the same drive so curious to hear if you ran into any probs.
