New Internal Hard Drive...Help!

Hi everyone-

I got a MacBook Pro in June of 2008 and the hard drive's logic board has apparently died, so I'm in desperate need to get a new one and could really use your help.

I've currently got the stock 200GB drive from when I bought it, but I'd like to upgrade to a 500GB or 750GB model with 7200 RPM (not SSD since I'm a broke college student). I've been looking at the Seagate Momentus X, but it looks like it's been getting bad reviews for Mac users. I've also been looking at Western Digitals, as well.

I'm open to any other suggestions you all might have.

Please help!

I stopped using Western D's, too loud and to much vibration.
I'm with Hitachi now -- works better for me and my needs.
