New Internal Harddrive

Hello,

I just bought a new internal harddrive for my macbook pro, and I was wondering what is the easiest way to copy my old harddrive into my new one? Is it just backing it up using timemachine and installing os x on my new harddrive and copying the files over? Or is there something easier and quicker?

Time Machine is probably going to be the easiest.

I prefer cloning it (superduper) but that necessitates that you have a HDD cadddy
