New internal HD for my late 2006 MacBook

I was wondering if this [http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Hitachi/0A50940/] would fit in and work well with my late 2006 White MacBook running 2GB and 2GHz.

Yup, it'd be a nice little fast drive. Alliterative, too: 2GB, 2Ghz, and 200GB, LOL. Go for it! Be sure you have something big enough to backup too.

Also, grab a cheap USB2 or Firewire case for the old drive to use as a portable unit. Check on eBay or get the 200GB drive with a case at OWC.

Yes it will and you'll love the speed boost moving out of your stock 5400rpm drive.

Either of the first two will work. The third one won't - it's for an older drive type that does not match the drive from your Macbook. You want SATA cases, not IDE/ATA.
