Im moving into a new apartment (first place of my own! WEEEE), but unfortunately Im losing the wonderfull wireless network and internet connection I have set up at my dads place. The new place is rather small so I cant really validate an expensive network. I have not decided on what internet option I will be user at the new place, so until I do I have to keep the setup very generic.

I was thinking about a Airport Express, small and cheap, also rather generic in terms of the types of internet connections it supports, but it doesnt really give me the security options I like, nor is it as configurable as the hacked linksys wrt54g im using.

On the other hand I can get a old blue and white G3 for $50, add a second eternet port and I still get a cheap setup, its very flexible and I can add a nice cache as well, but its not as small as the airport.

What would you guys do? Any other suggestions on decent ruiters?
