I uploaded 2 new ipad videos to my you tube account , however both are only 720P.

Is it cause I uploaded them via wi fi?

think i found the issue

I used my iPhone 4S for a test, and I encountered the same problem, but when I output the recorded 1080P videos to PC, and then upload to YouTube, I succeed. So I think maybe YouTube doesn’t support upload 1080P videos via 3G/WIFI, or 1080P MOV format is not perfectly supported by YouTube. Anyone has the same issue?

iPad3 1080p video to Youtube.

Yes, I am having the same problem. I video taped a few clips ( in 1080p of course ) with my iPad 3, and uploaded them directly to Youtube, but once they landed there, I noticed they were only 720p, not 1080p. Which kinda sucks. I am hoping Apple will eventually give you the option of uploading to Youtube in 1080p or 702p directly. I am sure I can do the longer "dance", and load my 1080p videos onto my MacBook Pro first, then dump into iMovie, and export out from there in 1080p, but that is more of a hassle, and is much more convenient to do it right off my iPad 3 into Youtube at 1080p.

Anyone know of a quick fix, please let us know. I'd much appreciate an e mail on this also, if there is a quick fix. Thanks!
