I downloaded 4 new apps over the weekend onto my first iPad. I have the iPad only running WiFi right now. I have not been using WiFi on my phone lately. I didn't hook the iPad up to my computer until this afternoon.

I happened to scroll over to my last phone screen last night and see those 4 apps in "waiting" mode, ie starting to install. They still have not fully installed.

I am guessing this happened via iCloud somehow, but how and where do I turn this off and/or make it more selective as to what goes on which device? There are some apps I only want on one device.

Thanks!
(btw I sure miss the speed of Firewire syncs in the old days - still running off a G4 tower so it's SLOW!!!!)

Settings - store - automatic downloads set the options to what you want on each device.

Thanks! So the only way to selectively install is through iTunes right?
