Hi all,

my wife and I are travelling to New York next week for my 40th birthday, and my hope is that I will be able to buy a 64gb wifi iPad while I'm there (not fussed about the colour).

Does anyone have any idea what the walk-in availability is like in New York Apple stores, or other retailers? Is it quite likely that I'll be able to get one, or should I not get my hopes up?

Thanks in advance!

It literally changes every day, there are a lot of stores in the city though, plus best buys who sell them as well.

I think you'll have a good chance of finding one. There are multiple Applestores here as well as a number of Best Buys and other stores that carry it. You will want to call ahead to save time but I'm pretty sure you'll find one.

You will need an iPad to help you through all the jokes you will have to endure now that you are in your 40's. :)

Happy Birthday!

Thanks!

That's good news. Another reason to be excited (rather than depressed) about turning 40! :D

Thanks for the replies!
