New iPad Died

Crashed Friday night and when I turned it back on all my apps were gone. Restarted it and the death screen came up telling to to connect to iTunes and load OS. Did that. Two hours later same thing happened. This morning I went to the apple store and everything worked fine. Five hours later, I'm back at the Apple store because the apps vanished again and I knew the next step was the death screen. Left with a brand new ipad. Beware of vanishing apps

Sounds very strange. When you mean gone, do they still show up in general settings under usage?

You know I didn't think to ook there. Neither did either of the Apple guys I dealt with.
