This new iPad has been brought into the Apple store for an exchange 5 das after March 16 launch due to weak wifi issues. The replacement has never given me any problems since.
Works well everywhere it should.
The update was installed 3 days ago and although I have had no lagging ,drop outs or any weak variations I notice that if my ip3 is not close to my router when I do the first function of the day ,it indicates its not connected...wifi.
As I approach the direction of my router it suddenly shows signal. After that there is no limited distance or weak signal of any kind.
Only when I start the day on it.
I reset network setting. , booted it and it done it again this morning.
Now I ave to test my luck at a couple of local hot spots. It might have finally given me the reason to spring for a t- mobile personal hot spot device.
My next iPad will be cellular being I never had one in that configuration before.

That is the cure for me. Seems to have gained strength reliably nw for almost 48 hrs. Thnx
