New iPad iMessage crash everytime I choose a pix!

Does anyone have this issue? I'm on 5.1.1 and everytime I tried to send a pix the app crash!

On the other hand my first iPad, and iPhone 4 don't have any issue! All on 5.1.1 stock and not jailbroken!

Have you tried a soft reboot? Hold home+power buttons. Keep hold of the buttons even when the "slide to power off" slider comes up until the screen goes black.

If that fails, I'd suggest trying a restore through iTunes.

I had the exact same issue when I first bought my iPad. I think I deleted a bunch of unnecessary photos from the library and it got fixed. Try backing up your photos and then clearing the library.

You may have low memory.
Try closing out some if not all of your applications by double tapping the home button, holding your finger on any app till they all start to wiggle. Then close each one out by tapping the apps on the red - (minus sign) in the top left side of each icon.

Then try sending that picture again.

If it still fails you could have a corrupt photo. You could then try emailing that photo instead of iMessage.
