Why do you need to jail break it? It's not locked to a particular carrier. Apple just teamed up with AT&T to offer 3G, but if other companies offer 3G data then you can probably sign up with them.

It'll be about 6 months from now where information on JB will come out, no need for it right now.

I just jailborken my ipod 2gen. When i open cydia fir the first time it ask. Who are you? User? hacker? Developer? What do i open it with? HELP PLEASE!!!

I was more curious if there will be a iPad Programming forum, or if it should fall under the iPhone Programming or the Mac Programming forum. Maybe the iPad/iPhone Programming forum? The SDK is already out for it. I plan on giving it a look see when I have some spare time.
