New Ipad on 6.0.1 need to restore and keep OS

So, I know, ollddd question... i have already saved blobs with tiny umbrella last night, but its been years since i have had to do this already, what is the rule again, if i have the ios downloaded how can i restore to latest and then restore back to 6.0.1 which im on? Or what would be best option?

If you wish to keep your 6.0.1 don't upgrade, there is no going back to 6.0.1 as Apple is no longer signing it, and "blobs" are no longer enough to restore your device.
