New iPad, photostream not pulling in all photos

I restored from icloud backup. (sold iPad 2 for new iPad)

All new pictures show up fine, but it only goes back 20 pictures or so

All my other devices show all 1000 pictures (iPhone, Mac mini, MacBook, ATV)

It's not a huge deal, but anyone else run into this? I turned off photo stream and turned it back on, and the new iPad only would download about the 20 newest pictures.

I have 3.6gb free so thats not an issue

I've actually had the opposite problem. Even after deleting photos from my photostream, my iPad seems to pull them back in. Also, if you're importing photos to your iPad for use in iPhoto, those get added to Photostream as well. I wound up just turning it off on my iPad because it was becoming a bigger hassle than it was worth.

Hey Dj - what did you do?

I have a similar problem. My other devices all show 1,000 images -- but the IPad only shows 300 or so images. I turned on/off photostream and it didn't help. ANy idea ? Did you find a trick that I might attempt?

I remembered about the 30 day rule lol. It was pulling in the pictures from the last 30 days. My other devices just had the other 950 or so locally stored.
