Don't know about the 2 since i only had it a few days, and it only happens occasionally when opening the settings, or in Goodreader opening PDFs, but I'll get the checkerboard or a blank screen for a moment.

I think the settings screen issue is due to the CPU reading all of the hundreds of settings to be displayed, not a screen draw problem, while the Goodreader app is a screen re-draw one. Neither is a big deal at all, it just takes like 1/3 - 1/2 a second to display correctly.

I've noticed Pulse reader app really stutters as you scroll vertically or horizontally which has never before occurred. Has anyone else experienced this and do you attribute it to iPad 3 or is it a new issue with the app?
