Well, I'm back to a work iphone. I'm an android guy and I did try to get an android work phone but they were too expensive so I bought a iphone 12 pro for 30 bucks. I used to have a i7. It was a good solid phone but when I upgraded I went back to Samsung.
Anyway, I'm kind of excited about it. They are solid phones and I never really had a problem with it.
I am annoyed that they don't have a charger with the new iphone. Fortunately a friend on mine at work is an apple guy and he has several chargers, so he'll give me one.
I'll have to relearn some stuff but it won't be too bad. I'll be reading everything in the tips section.
I am a little impatient. Hopefully I'll get the phone soon.

yes. I bought it at work. My company pays for most of it and the service. I can't upgrade for 2 years but after that I can. But it is a work phone. I don't have any personal stuff on it.

Welcome back to iPhone! Hopefully the 12 is everything you wish it to be.

I'll enjoy it. My friend, co-worker knows everything about Iphones so He'll help me set it all up.
I guess I'll have an old Samsung work phone to sell.

I’m so confused. Why would you have to pay, no matter the amount, for a works phone? Why isn’t your company providing it to you free of charge?

Unless I’m missing something…?

Offhand, I'd say that OP's company is buying the phone for the OP, with OP having to chip in a certain amount. In the end, OP owns the phone but is required to use it for company purposes. When required to upgrade again, OP keeps the phone and can do with it what OP wants.

Pretty sweetheart deal to me if I'm right.

Is it your phone that you own or is it you employer's phone and you can use it as long as you work there?

I buy it at a discount and use it for work. It's supposed to just be a work phone but some people use it as a personal phone too. The company pays for the service and you're not really allowed to download stuff etc. Mostly everybody does anyway. After my 2 year contract is up it's my phone. If you lose the phone the company can send a signal to the phone will go through a factory reset. That's why I use it for a work phone. I don't want my stuff deleted.
