New Iphone +3g? unlock? questions!

After reading all the rumors etc i am up to date with the 3g rumors etc. Lets suppose Apple will launch a new iphone 3g model in june or september...

There will be a posibility of unlocking them in countries where is not available?

also a if it come in 3g it will be able to work in edge or older technologies?

I am from Puerto Rico i am now unsure if i wait for new model and i can wait but is there any posibility that wont work then why wait?

Any othe rinfo you wanna add anything i missed is welcome.

The problem is, any answer anyone here is going to give you will be pure speculation. No one knows anything for sure, until Apple does it. But I seriously doubt the 3G will be unlocked, at least for now.
