First gen iPhone was simply called iPhone...then there was the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs, and now we have the iPhone 4. With Verizon's iPhone looming, will we be referring to it as the CDMA iPhone, Verizon's iPhone (doubtful if this ends up going international), iPhone 4.1, second gen iPhone 4, the iPhone 4 that should have been, etc...

Just curious if its gotten an official name yet...

Yep, it has a name.

iPhone 4

it's still just the iPhone 4, just on Verizon, as well as AT&T.

way back i had a Motorolla E550 which was black, specifically for T-Mobile (it was blue on all other carriers), but it was still just the Motorolla E550.

A curse upon you DawgPots! :p

It already has a name, iPhone 4.

To which iPhone 4 do you refer? I'm confused. The one with CDMA, redesigned antenna, shifted buttons and personal hotspot capabilities or to the other iPhone that's sold millions already and has been in use for the past seven months? :D:D:D

OOOOOOOOOhhhhhhh. That one!

Things are going to get tricky around here if we can't separate the two models. ;)
