New iPhone 4S, Firmware 5.0.1, iTunes 10.5.2, OSx 10.7.2.
Sync new phone, All options checked to sync. All music syncs, contacts sync, clendar syncs, no problem there.

However on the photos it's another story. The iTunes photos tab for the device says I have 880 photos, which is correct. However, the phone only gets 91 photos! No error is displayed.

Also sync to an iPod Touch 4g previously, now found out not all photos there anymore.

Now I'm wondering if this is something wrong with iTunes? iPhoto shows all the pictures. It worked in the past, so I'm suspecting something wrong with iTunes.

I search forum but didn't find anything in the iPhone area.

Appreciate any help.

I searched again, this time in the applications forum and found the problem. Apparently when going to iPhoto 11 part of the iPhoto Library called "iPod Photo Cache" was corrupted. Following instructions from:

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314?viewlocale=en_US

I deleted the iPod Photo Cache directory, then re-synced and now all is well.

Note to self..check more than one section of the forum when looking for a solution to a problem.
