New iPhone 4s earbuds?

This may be in the wrong spot, but I'm curious...

I heard the new 4S included a new style/design of the standard Apple earbuds... is this true?

I use these things called "whoomp earbud enhancers" on the earbuds that came with my iPhone 4, but I wonder if they won't on the new earbuds with the iPhone 4S.

No.. the insides are different and you're holding them wrong. I have 23% more whoomp than before.

Instead of buying the attatchments, why not buy real headphones? IEMs I mean.

I got the whoomp things a while back because they sounded interesting. I recently got some nice earphones by Ultimate Ears and use them when I'm at my computer. I use my apple earbuds while i'm out running around.

Lol I know even the little usb plug and usb cable comes with it is expensive when purchased separately from apple

Well, the button on the mic seems a bit different than the older model. It seems thinner and a bit longer. But the ear buds I think are the same.
