Quick question. Just got my new iPhone 5 and unfortunately it didn't come with 6.0.1 is it better to install the patch ota or the full software on itunes

btw im starting fresh no backups or documents just a fresh beautiful phone

Whichever you prefer, doesn't make a difference.

I install all possible updates OTA and everything is running very smoothly, no issues. :cool:
 
I love how people spread complete bull crap to others on here. Just update you'll be fine.

It did for me? :s I couldn't update over the air because the stupid update thing wouldn't work so I had to connect it
 
Only speaking from what I have seen. I started out with a new iPhone and so I did not have anything to backup from iCloud. A co-worker upgraded his iPhone to a 5 and started with a backup from iCloud. When the notification came thru, all I had to do was run the installer patch, then make sure I was on wifi to install 6.0.1. My co-workers phone had the message he had to connect to iTunes to install 6.0.1. I really do think it has something to do with how you start out with your phone, but I am not sure.
