New iPhone 6 screen scratched

My sister got her iPhone 6 today on contract while opening the box to set it up for her, I've noticed after taking the screen cover off there is a very very fine scratch going across the screen it start about quarter way with a very small dot right at the beginning of the scratch easily seen if light shines onto it.

Looks like some very small partical of something scratch this while being manufactured.

Eitherway do you think it warrant's a return even though you can't see it unless you aim a certain way in the light?

I'd return it. You noticed it already, and I think it will just annoy your sister more and more (at least it would me).

I noticed it as soon as i took the screen covering off as i had the light on in the living room, then went to the window to check it out and natural light also shows the scratch.

Nothing more needs to be said, return it and they will exchange it without any issue.

Return the phone till you get one that is perfect.
