I had an iPhone 6 Plus, recently upgraded to a 6s Plus but didn't restore from backup, instead going a 'clean' install. I use google to store my contacts for both phones. However with my new phone, only some of my google contacts are showing up, not all of them. Anyone know what would cause this? If I go to my old phone and show *only* google contacts and do the same thing on my new phone, the results are different. I'm missing so many contacts on the new phone....I can enter them manually, but it seems like I shouldn't have to. I've googled but haven't been able to come across much help.

On your new phone, is it set to have the new contacts imported as Google or iCloud? Ie., is the default for Contacts Google or iCloud?
