New iPhone and Sharing Apps

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding sharing apps. So, both me and my dad both have the original iPhone, and I am looking to upgrade next friday. But, both of our iphones are linked to the same account (my account). So, when I get the 3GS next week will I still be able to sync all of my apps onto it?
