Honestly, I'm starting to get tired of the main part of each event and review surrounding the new iPhone being heavily weighted towards the camera changes. These are not portable cameras, but because of how most interact with others socially these days it seems to be what matters to the “masses.” At this point it feels like everything outside of the camera, gaming advancements, and chip are second thoughts or not even humored. I miss the days when smartphones were more innovative in different faucets. For example since they upgraded Apple Music there has been no public mention of a new or improvements to the built-in DAC or an in-house equivalent to the APTx codec for lossless over Bluetooth to take better advantage of the lossless music capabilities. There is a laundry list of things that could be improved, upgraded or changed but all the focus goes into the camera and honestly that is mildly frustrating that the average consumer seems to only care about this. I will still happily get the phone and look forward to more in depth reviews and discussions surrounding changes that are more aligned with a well balanced all around upgrade. I just hope that the future "Ultra" model really does step the bar up in numerous features and doesn't just add or upgrade features that influencers or people who spend too much time on social media will use.

I think they are focusing on pushing this for people who have old devices than pro ppl more as 14 pro max is still a great phone. The ultra model might be out of reach for most of it does get released . I do agree these are modest but improvements none the less, but they limit some physical features on regular models compared to the pro like usb c speeds. The more we let these new models simmer in our minds, the more we weigh the pros and cons. Hell the pro max here in canada is 1700$ plus and with tax ! might as well get a MacBook Pro 14”! I got a used a 11 pro max for my dad and he is happy as it does what is needed. My 12 pro works fine too and my moms iPhone 8 is still rocking and doing well. If you do not need use all the features or play games or record video for ur next feature film on the iphone, older models will suffice for 90% of people. Also cheaper prices too and plenty of re sales online.

However I am curious about the Apple Watch 9 and the finger tap and how they say it’s because of the s9 SIP that makes it possible. Too bad that feature is not backward compatible but then again it could be, but limited to the new watch only. Leave it to apple marketing team to get ppl to upgrade. :)

I did love the short skit tho with Mother Nature 🤓
