This would be pointless unless there were two cameras. How are you going to know what you're taking a picture of if the display is pointed away from you?

Or a swiveling camera lens (like on some other phones).

Now that I think about that (the swiveling head), I do not like it so much. Plus, it seems to me, if I want to video conference, EDGE will not do- must be on wifi. And if I am on wifi, wouldn't I best be using an iMac or MBR?

Leave the camera where it is- just add software to make movies!

if its a new phone, its probably going to have 3g. Which is able to do video conference.

But still. Where did this come from????

Why would apple put the camera on the same side
as the screen??? do you think its for video chat???

Prove it !, Pictures ?, URL of pictures, solid information that can be verified?

Its all hype till next year when there supposed to release the 16gig, with GPS and 3G

Why does everyone get so worked up when someone makes up
a story about a new feature that's not even real?

"Prove it! Where's the link?" HAHA! Just ignore it!

We'll know what's on the next gen phone when apple announces it.

Sony Ericsson make a phone for the European Market that has 2 cameras on it, a big one of the back and a little one for video conferencing on the front. I don't see why Apple couldn't do the same.

Most 3G phones have dual cameras, my nokia 6233 is in the minority with only one positioned on the back.
