New iPhone Leather Case

I'm pretty sure some people did not notice the updated design of the iPhone 7/7 Plus Leather Case. There are now "machined aluminum buttons [that] match the finish of your iPhone case." Looks much better than the full leather case on the iPhone 6/6s. Apple's Leather Case is the most durable and nicest looking case (imo) I have ever used and this is from personal experience. I'm currently using a black iPhone 6 Plus case and have been for over 14 months. Dropped it many times and iPhone sustained no damage. Also what I love most is the microfibre lining on the inside which never scratched the back of my iPhone - 2 years later and the aluminum body is scratch-free apart from one tiny dent in the bottom. I'm glad I ordered this again for my 7 Plus. Just wanted to put this out there for those interested.

Photos from Apple.

Yay, the metal buttons are back! Similar to the original bumpers. I have the brown leather case for my iPhone 6 and ordered the black leather case for my iPhone 7. Hopefully the metal buttons have some nice tactical feedback to them.

Did anyone see the new buttons of the new leather case they have for the iPhone 7? Check out the screenshot below.

My black leather case for my 7 plus in on the truck for delivery today.

It is just a temp case for me until Sedio gets their Surface case ready to ship.

My iPhone 7 case arrived today - black leather. I have already requested a return and refund.

There are markings on the back (I get that this happens with leather, but for £45 I am not prepared to settle for that). And the corners are all rippled.

Neither of these were issues with my iPhone 6 black leather case 2 years ago.

I also think the buttons look very plastic like and cheap.

Photos attached. Hopefully this is just a one off, but thought I'd share in case.

That's very worrying because I also ordered a black case for iPhone 7 Plus. Good thing you're returning it. I pray mine isn't the same so that I don't need return it too. My black iPhone 6 Plus case is also perfectly made without any markings or ripples in the inside nor outside.

tpacowboy- thanks for posting the pics. Yikes! I'd return it, too.

Does it say where that was made? (one photo kind of looks like made in China is embossed)

Yes, they're metal buttons now.

I do not thinks so. My black case just arrived and the buttons seem to be plastic.

The corners on my previous cases were also rippled. I am betting they all are.

Curious how the Storm Gray case looks in person with a silver phone. I've been using my 6 midnight blue leather case since day 1 and it's been my favorite case ever.

I love your new hair color Leo..!

I'm not as OCD as some people are about stuff like this. I think I will like this case.

The real question is besides Black, what other colors look great with the Black phone? By this I mean over time, as leather wears, stains..etc.

Depends on what you like....I think the Saddle Brown (when aged) looks good. There are some pictures in one of these forums if you search.
